Target Audience

Sophie and i were unsure of song choice for a while. We first decided on the song choice of 'She Said' by Plan B. Plan B who's real name is Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew born 22 October 1983, is a British rapper actor and now singer. In the last couple of years his fame has hit success. His song 'She Said' is about a young woman who has fallen for him and he does not feel the same way back. The woman then takes him to court to try and seek revenge and the ending is un known. This song choice was because it is very well known and easily recognised by the younger generation who we are aiming are music video at. However the lyrics are so specific this could mean copying the video that they already have, which is not what we wanted. From this we decided to choose the song 'Wonderful life' by Hurts. Hurts are a British Sythnop duo from Manchester composed of singer Theo Hutchcraft and synth player Adam Anderson. We are using the remixed version by Arthur Baker because we felt this had alot more energy then the original. We felt with this song we could tell a simple love story that our target audience would understand using the lyrics.
